transmission problem
car abruptly stops when accelerating on slight incline
This is the 4th time it has happened. Concerned enough for safety and possible expensive repairs that I would prefer to have covered under warranty. Finally had time to research on internet and now I am even more concerned. I did not see the exact same problem with my make and model, but problems were very simular dealing with non acceleration. A lot of the problems seemed worse than mine and I wonder if that is where mine will progress to. Also saw a lot of simular problems happening on "slight inclines". No one has been able to get any satisfaction from Mazda, as problem cant be duplicate. I figure this will be my outcome, as problem is extremely intermittent and there are no recalls. I feel my only hope is a class action law suit!

Second time. Now 100% sure I didn't touch the break. Comes to a complete abrupt stop. Who ever is in the car is thrown forward. Thank goodness this has so far only happened in my driveway!

This was the first time. Wasnt 100% sure that my foot didnt accidentally bump the break; although I felt pretty confident that I hadn't.

Third time. And second time close together. Concerned its getting worse. I work a lot of hours and hadn't had time to address the problem. So it is now becomming a pain in the ass! Still only happening on my driveway which leads me to beleave that the slight incline has something to do with it.
