I was driving on northbound 71 near louisville, ky when a vehicle entered the freeway and cut me off. I avoided a collision with him but the vehicle behind me hit me multiple times in multiple locations, spinning me across the freeway. One was a side impact hit which forced my head into the driver's side window, breaking it. I had six airbags in my 2006 Mazda 6 and none of them deployed. The rates of speed being traveled were at approximately 55 miles per hour. I was harmed but not enough to warrant a lawsuit according to lawyers, yet my equipment failed to protect me in my vehicle. My vehicle is now totaled as well.
Neither side or front airbags deployed in accident. This car was rear ended at 45 mph and then pushed into a guard rail, causing damage to the front and rear of the car.
My husband was making a left-hand turn and didn't see any oncoming vehicle. The vehicle smashed into him making the car spin 180 degrees. The passenger's side airbag went off instantly, the driver's side airbag did not deploy until after the car had stopped spinning.
