1) Mazda "IS" well aware of the catalytic converter issue on the Mazda 6 models every one from 02-06 have this issue in the 3.0 engine yet Mazda refuses to recall and we're left to front the bill. Don't believe me, randomly contact any Mazda service department and inquire as if your a consumer!!! why on earth did Mazda approve this design? 3 catalytic converters within the first 36" of exhaust.
i am not an engineer but i can tell you that backpressure and restriction are devastating to this motor, just ask all the customers who have payed 4200$ to replace their failed engines due to this exhaust. i will be googling all those who have had this issue, i will be mailing them a petition and i will file this is blatant disregard towards consumers, why are we left to pay for these constant malfunctions?
2) Feel free to google any Mazda 6 forum and you will see endless complaints, one after another, its not random coincidence!!! http://www.mazdaforum.com/forum/mazda6-20/2003-mazda-6-s-v6-engine-problems-26484/ here's just one
3) I have had this car for approx 7 months and i'm forced to replace part after part, i will list each part in separate complaints
