this is the second time I have had to replace the a/c compressor. the compressor is mounted below the oil pan at the bottom of the engine. any time the car hits a dip the compressor gets hit, the car is so low to begin with. backing out of my driveway the street has a dip. after a year the compressor gets hit enough it breaks. I have had this car for 7 yrs and had to replace it twice because of its location, and it is not cheap.
