Mazda TSB #09-026-15-3029
2014 Mazda MAZDA3
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL
- Summary
- SOME CUSTOMERS MAY COMPLAIN THAT THE ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY (A) VIBRATES WHEN DRIVING OVER A BUMP AND/OR CANNOT BE ADJUSTED TO A VIEWABLE POSITION USING THE COMMANDER SWITCH. THIS IS CAUSED BY THE AXIS OF THE ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY POPPING OUT OF POSITION IF THE CUSTOMER MANUALLY OPENS OR CLOSES THE DISPLAY, OR CLOSES THE DISPLAY WITH OBJECTS PLACED IN THE STORAGE AREA (B) FOR THE DISPLAY. TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM, THE SHAPE OF THE SHAFT AND BEARING PART HAS BEEN CHANGED TO INCREASE THE INSERTION FORCE, THEREBY MAKING THE DISPLAY HARDER TO POP OUT OF POSITION.
