When I first go out in the morning, get in the car being careful to not touch anything outside or inside the car, start the car and the car starts moving in reverse, it soon becomes apparent that I will have to adjust the car's path so it won't run onto the grass, THEN I FIND THE STEERING WHEEL IS FROZEN.

I have to move the steering wheel back and forth, back and forth, back and forth until it finally breaks free. Once it's free I'm good for the day. But the following day, I go through the same steps with the same outcome as described above..

The Mazda Dealer repeats what he says every time I call and complain......it is a safety feature, to keep someone from stealing the car and you must be leaning on it, using it to get yourself settled, touching it in some way to trigger that response. I explain all the steps I take to make sure that I don't touch the steering wheel. His response, well you must being doing something and you don't even realize you're doing it.

I like the car but now it is repeating the Frozen Steering Wheel a second time on the same day. In other words it is getting worse and there aren't any other Mazda Dealerships close by except that one in Ocala.

Anyone ever had any similar experience? Know someone who solved the problem? Offer advice other than driving it over a cliff?
