I started noticing a leak under car, which I normally do every two weeks or every other fill up, and noticed a leak of something under the rear tire. Checking all the fluids I noticed the brake fluid level was below the lowest level. It was a slow leak (enough to drain the reservoir in a month), but could have been dangerous for a Mazda 3 owner who does not check and top up their fluid levels.
Since I already had a 130,000 kms on the car and clearly not under any sort of manufacturer warranty, I took a weekend, ordered a replacement caliper and changed it up. Definitely a little annoying but don't considered it a regular maintenance service.
