Ok, nothing you can do about living near rock quarries and getting paint chips. Fine. But, as I was washing my car yesterday (July 8, 2010) w/ a hose, car-wash soap, and soft, microfiber cloths bought from a car parts store, paint along the edges of some parts of the car began peeling off as I was washing or drying the car. For the record, the hose did have a sprayer on it; but it was not really high-power. If anything, we had low-pressure water due to hose problems. And the paint came off as I used a SOFT microfiber cloth and applied only average pressure. Will try touch-up paint. Hope this won't be an ongoing problem. 1 tube touch-up paint: $7.84 plus toothpicks and rubbing alcohol to clean the areas.
