CarComplaints.com Notes: Except for a minor issue with cracked motor mounts, the 2007 MAZDA3 is a fantastic vehicle with a great reputation.
If you need to replace the motor mounts, first ask your dealer if they'll cover it -- the motor mounts were dealt with in a TSB & were recalled for some model years. Otherwise buy aftermarket motor mounts -- owners report this solves the problem. If you use the same OEM parts, they may just crack again.

This is the second time I have had my car in the shop. When it warms up it dies no matter where you are or how fast you are going; it just dies. I had the car in the shop for the same problem July 2012 when a camshaft sensor was replaced. This fix lasted for about 4 months, however, I was afraid to drive the car. I made the mistake of letting the car warm up in snowy weather and it died in the middle of the street (fortunately I live in a small town). It has been in the shop since Feb. 3, 2013 this time. It still has not been fixed and the mechanics are stumped. I need my car and need it to be reliable.
