My symptoms are: whining/squeaking/whistling/squealing/vibration noise or sound whenever I'm at a stop and automatic transmission is in DRIVE (noise pretty much disappears when in NEUTRAL).
Noise also disappears as soon as you step off the brake and start stepping on the gas pedal and accelerating/moving again.
*Noises are especially audible when car is against a wall or going through a DRIVE-THRU (McDonalds).
