Mazda TSB #07-003-22a
2021 Mazda CX-9
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT
- Summary
- Some customers may complain about poor A/C performance due to low refrigerant. This may be caused by one of two things. Cause 1: [For 2016-2022 CX-9 with VINS lower than JM3TC******617612 (produced before April 7, 2022)] The condenser is corroded causing leakage of the A/C refrigerant. To eliminate this concern, the anti-corrosion performance of the condenser tube has been improved. Cause 2: [For all 2016-2022 CX-9] The low-temperature side outlet pipe leading to the evaporator of the air conditioner condenser has deteriorated because the structure around the outlet pipe on the low-temperature side of the air conditioner condenser allows mud and salt water to adhere easily. There is no mass production change, but an improved condenser was designed as needed.
