Mazda TSB #07-001/22
2018 Mazda CX-9
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER
- Summary
- Some vehicles may exhibit an unusual noise in the front A/C unit when the recirculate switch is operated. This is caused by a damaged gear in the air intake actuator. Dust and sand adhered to the grease at the air intake link may disturb the movement of the air intake actuator, resulting in the damaged gear. To eliminate this concern, grease application to the air intake link mechanism to the link pin has been reduced.
