CarComplaints.com Notes: The only area of real concern for 2011 Mazda CX-9 owners is the brake booster.

In 2014, Mazda extended the warranty on the 2007-2013 CX-9 brake booster to 7 years / 90,000 miles. However this extended warranty has expired, so buyer beware.

This Mazda CX-9 brake booster failure isn't terrible in terms of repair cost — it "only" costs $550 average to fix. However it is a safety issue when the brake booster fails as it increases stopping distance. Owners have reported having to stomp on the brake pedal, & crashes/injuries have been reported due to this CX-9 brake booster defect.

I took my car to hall in brookfield wi to fix a recall issue. The dealer told me they fixed the recall issue but noticed another problem that requires the replacement of the differential bushings because they were torn. They charged me over $500 for this issue and I believe the issue was exasperated by the recall issue and I am not sure why I had to pay. I honestly believe it was a way for the dealer to charge me for the recall work because it was supposed to be free. I am attaching receipts for the work hall did to this complaint. Now my car is having issues with properly accelerating and is very loud.

My car is having a recall repaired for some front end issue. In Sept 2015 I took my car in for inspection, and all 4 tires had great tread on them. Mazda didn't have parts in September to fix my car. Between September 2015, and April 2016 my drivers side front tire is bald on the outside to the point it's almost unsafe to drive. It is the only tire that is like this.. all 4 tires were replaced at the same time about two years ago. Paul miller Mazda called me and informed me I needed new tires and an alignment and I informed them it had to be related to the recall due to only that tire, and the fact that the tread was the same as the other tires in September. We could feel the front end issues in the vehicle for 7 months waiting on the parts. I am now stuck having to buy a new tire and pay for an alignment out of my own pocket because it ook them 7 months to get parts in to fix my Mazda.
