CarComplaints.com Notes: Mazda included the 2009 Mazda CX-9 brake booster in a special extended warranty (now expired) that covered 2007-2013 model years.
However, brake booster complaints never materialized as a defect trend for the 2009 CX-9 — both with our complaint data & with the NHTSA's complaint data. So, we highly recommend this 2009 model year!

Own a 2009 Mazda Cx-9 equipped with Bridgestone dueler H/L 400, size 245/50/R20. At 26040 miles TPMS low tire pressure indicator light illuminated. Began to unscrew valve stem cap on passenger side rear tire and it cracked in half, sensor came out, and all air in tire came out. Contacted Mazda roadside assistance which came out and removed flat tire and put on spare. Was told by Mazda that valve stem fix was my responsibility, took flat tire to nearby independent shop where new valve stem was installed with sensor at cost of $135. Contacted Mazda customer assistance and was told I should have taken tire T Mazda dealership.
