CarComplaints.com Notes: Mazda included the 2009 Mazda CX-9 brake booster in a special extended warranty (now expired) that covered 2007-2013 model years.
However, brake booster complaints never materialized as a defect trend for the 2009 CX-9 — both with our complaint data & with the NHTSA's complaint data. So, we highly recommend this 2009 model year!

This problem relates to a design flaw in the factory sunroof. Regular rainfall does not result in a leak. Only water under car wash pressure causes intrusion into the drain pan inside the vehicle beneath the sunroof seal. Annoying? Sure. But I can put up with hand washing this vehicle since we all like it so much otherwise.
