The airbags warning light just came on a couple days for my car and I took it the Mazda dealer to diagnose and they said the passenger airbags and the SAS module need to be replaced but warranty safety is only up to 60000 miles. My car has 76998 miles. But this is a safety issue and Mazda has lots problem with airbags recalls.

Received initial recall notice (0717A) of the potentially fatal takata airbag in February 2017 and instructed not to let anyone ride in the passenger side of the car, and was told airbag replacement parts were not available. It is now September, 2017 - over 6 months later - the airbag replacement parts are still not available, we are still having to use a potentially deadly defective automobile but only part of the vehicle since we cannot use the front passenger side, and Mazda has not offered a replacement vehicle. We cannot even sell the car for fair value do to this potentially fatal and at this time, un-repairable, defect. The last recall notice (1317F) instructed us to notify the administrator of the NHTSA if Mazda did not repair the defect within a reasonable amount of time. Over 6 months is not a reasonable period of time.

Takata recall. I received Mazda's safety recall notice on 12/12/2016. In December 2016, I took the recall letter to my local Mazda dealer in bitburg, germany. As of August 31, 2017, Mazda europe is still not able to receive parts to repair the car. My local Mazda dealership told me to wait until I received another notice and then return with the car. I have not received a second notice as of August 31, 2017.

Received recall notice for passenger side air bad in July 2016, and have made three attempts to have the repair done, each time I have been told the parts are not available. In August 2017, I received another recall notice for the "final repair using a modified inflator...". I am disappointed with the response I've received and will try again, however I don't think a year long wait for an air bag replacement is reasonable or acceptable.

I had a recall notice about potential defect on the airbag system that can cause personal injury on my Mazda C-X 9 2008. I contacted the dealer close to my resident as prescribed on the recall notice. They said they will get back with me as soon as the parts are available. It has been more than 3 months and I have not got any response from the dealer. I will be very grateful to get a follow up to see that this my car is fixed. Thanks very much in advance.
