I was so happy with the CX50 I jumped to it as soon as it came out. It is my 4th Mazda and my worst experience. Everything works fine, acceleration is amazing, I think Mazda fixed the excessive brake pads consumption they had with cx5 and cx9.. really loved the CX50 u till I opened the panoramic roof.

The panoramic roof is a nightmare, my advise for anyone who wants to buy the car, please open the moon roof on both positions (tilt and full opening).

My problem started 3 days after I got the car, once you open the panoramic roof in any position then you start hearing metal knocking everytime you go on to of bump. It will drive you crazy.

I went to the dealer I bought it from (in Canada ) to report it, they were very confused, they tried to add insulation without any success. Then went to an other dealer in the USA they were very friendly, they partially resolved the full open position but no luck with the tilt. I will have to go again to complain.

My be my car is special case but for everyone... Please check the panoramic roof when you test drive.
