- Summary
- Some vehicles may exhibit either or both of the following symptoms. 1. The SCBS warning light is illuminated with DTC U045A:68 [FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC)]. U045A:68 Error signal received from parking assist unit 2. The parking sensor indicator is flashing with one or more of the following DTCs of PARKING ASSIST SYSTEM. B1B36:14 Front corner ultrasonic sensor (RH) circuit malfunction B1B36:2A Front corner ultrasonic sensor (RH) characteristic malfunction B1B38:14 Front ultrasonic sensor (RH) circuit malfunction B1B38:2A Front ultrasonic sensor (RH) characteristic malfunction B1B40:14 Front corner ultrasonic sensor (LH) circuit malfunction B1B40:2A Front corner ultrasonic sensor (LH) characteristic malfunction B1B42:14 Front ultrasonic sensor (LH) circuit malfunction B1B42:2A Front ultrasonic sensor (LH) characteristic malfunction Due to insufficient waterproof performance of the front harness short cords (1), water may enter in and accumulate in the C-11 (LH) or C-12 (RH) connectors (2) causing a short circuit between wires and an improper signal being sent from the parking (ultrasonic) sensor to the parking sensor unit. To eliminate this concern, the production process of the front harness short cord has been improved to increase waterproof performance.
