Mazda TSB #09-015-22
2021 Mazda CX-5
TSB Document:
Affected Component: LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES
- Summary
- Some vehicles may exhibit corrosion on the liftgate lock striker. This may be caused by water penetrating from micro cracks existing on the lock striker's coating surface that reacts with zinc contained in the undercoating and produces the corrosion. To eliminate this concern, a modified undercoating has been established for the liftgate lock striker.
