Just wanted everyone to be aware that you have to check your cars engine bay even if brand new. After looking at my car engine one day at 25,000 miles I noticed a lot of dirt on my timing covers, belts and tensioner. Took it to Mazda and was told they would not fix it until the oil drips down and hit the black plastic under carriage. It was a major oil leak. I had to drive another 5,000 miles until this could happen.
The dealership that I took my car to for oil changes never said nothing. I stopped going to them here in Delaware. I guess they were hoping something more major would happen so they would get more money. Don’t trust dealer ships. And Mazda policy sucks on oil leaks. So if you have a cx5 buy a camera with a scope and look over all sides of your engine before it’s out of warranty. Don’t get me started on the rust I see already. Will never buy another Mazda. Yes check your dipstick and view your engine.
