Toyo tires were among a number of inferior original factory equipment componants. In my experience with 2019 Mazda CX 5, inferior factory supplied componants were all four brake pads, front brake disks, battery and tires.
My new 2019 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD came with TOYO 225/55/R19 OEM tires. These tires have a treadwear rating of 300, no warranty and cost $138 at Walmart. Based on customer reviews at Discount Tire, NTB and Tire Rack, these tires will likely go no more then 24,000 miles (1 year short of my three year lease). Then I will have to put new tires on at my cost before turning it in. All competitors (Forester, CRV & RAV4) put minimum 600 treadwear and 60,000 warranty tires on their similar compact SUV's. My dealer says Mazda uses this low mileage, softer tire to reduce noise and they normally last 40,000 miles. They certainly are quiet, but I question the 40,000 mile number.
I'd like to hear what others actual experience with these tires is.
