Some repair kits (p/n 0000-8E-R09) for Recall 1617K (2017 CX-5 - EQUIPPED WITH A GENUINE MAZDA ACCESSORY TRAILER - HITCH HARNESS) may contain an extra wire harness (shown below). The extra wire harness is not necessary for the repair and should be removed and discarded from the repair kit. Only the trailer side of the wire harness should to be used.
