Was driving on the interstate with my 12 year old grandson when I heard a big boom and then shattered glass hitting the roof. The sunroof exploded. Good thing the cover was closed to the sunroof. This could could have been a devastating experience with shattered glass flying all over. This is a safety hazard and Mazda needs to recall these sunroofs. I have had many cars with sunroofs and never experienced a problem.
I was driving downhill and suddenly i heard a bang.. So i pulled the car on the side of the road.. Thought i hit sumthing.. But didnt see any.. So i continued driving and there i heard something fallen from my roof..like small pcs of rocks.. So i opened my sunroof,and there the glass is shattered..im lucky that the cover is closed or else something bad might have happen to me.. I dont know how did it happen.. But it sucks..
