This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
I bought my Mazda CX5 new a 2015 model year and experienced a thumping noise when we slightly put rear windows down. It wasn't just a noise though, the pressure in the car changed and caused both my husband and myself headaches. I have reported it to the service manager at the dealer we bought it from and they said the manufacturer is aware of it and they have a fix for it but you have to purchase it from them to get rid of the noise. I have read of the same complaint regarding the 2013 and 2014 years. If I had known about this problem and the fact that all the manufacturer will do is charge for a fix instead of fixing it two years ago, I would not have purchased this car. I don't think rolling down the rear window should cause pain. I have owned this car one whole day.
