- Summary
- FREQUENT ENGINE STARTS UNDER EXTREMELY COLD AMBIENT TEMPERATURES MAY RESULT IN OIL SEEPAGE FROM THE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH. THIS CONCERN MAY BE CAUSED BY A LACK OF DURABILITY OF THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH UNDER THESE CONDITIONS. TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM, THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH HAS BEEN IMPROVED TO INCREASE THE DURABILITY IN COLD AMBIENT TEMPERATURES. ALL SKYACTIV ENGINES EQUIPPED WITH OIL PRESSURE SWITCH PART NUMBER PE01-18-501A ARE APPLICABLE TO THIS ISSUE.
