My dealership in Calgary placed an order for a replacement cap for my antenna on my Mazda CX-5 as mine was damaged, however there were none available in North America. The part has been on BACKORDER in Japan for over 6 WEEKS! What the heck is going on? It's a antenna cap, for crying out loud.
I'm very frustrated as I have had to tape the cap onto the roof of my vehicle, replacing the tape repeatedly to ensure it's not 'flopping about' and causing general mayhem on the roof of my CUV.
If anyone can provide me with some insight on what the freaking hold up for this part is, I'd be grateful. It doesn't seem like such a monumental part that it would be delayed so signficantly....
