Immediate deceleration while on freeway with engine light turning on. No accidents as the freeway was relatively sparse (early in the morning). Had it fixed - issue was with ignition coil and spark plugs. All were replaced w/c cost around $1,200~. No issues since replacement. Though, I do sometimes feel that it is not as responsive as it once were (it could also be possibly in my head as well).

CX-5 Touring 2.0L 4 cyl

I bought this used on 12/26/16, the very next day I was traveling on I84 during heavy traffic about 45-50mph when my dashboard lit up. The tire pressure, traction control, and check engine warning lights all came on. My car started bucking! Jumping forward and then stopping, decelerating, bucking again. I was terrified that I was going to have an accident. Luckily, I was already in the slow lane and was able to get off the highway safely. I parked, hit the TCS Off button, turned off the car and then started it again. Traction control light was now off but tire pressure and check engine light were still on. I drove straight to the dealership and left the car. 12/28/16 dealership says its potentially an issue with the power train control module. Later that day they say no, it was a faulty mass airflow sensor. They replaced the sensor, took care of the tire pressure, cleared all 3 codes that originally displayed. Picked car up on 12/30/16 (today) drove twice without issue. If issue occurs again, I will update this comment.

Update from Jan 4, 2017: Orig mileage 43,600

1/4/17 - issue occurred again, this time mileage was 43,859. I was on a side road traveling about 20mph when the car started bucking. Tire pressure light started blinking and traction control and check engine lights went on. Obviously, the mass airflow sensor replacement was not a valid resolution. Brought car back to the dealer for the second time in 8 days.
