2013 Mazda CX-5 Automatic has electrical issues after idling for several minutes (more than 5 - 10 minutes). The warning lights come on - Check Engine, Automatic Transmission, Tire Pressure, and Traction Control. Vehicle seems to drive okay but did not drive far. If vehicle is turned off for a while to rest and then restarted, all warning lights go out except check engine light. If turned off for a second time to rest for a while and then restarted, all warning lights are gone. This has happened twice and both times after the car was idling in park for several minutes (once while loading vehicle with furniture and once when stopped and making a phone call with Bluetooth). The vehicle air conditioning was running during the May 21, 2013 incident.
Update from Jun 5, 2014: 2013 Mazda CX-5 Automatic has electrical issues. If car has been driven and then is stopped and idles for several minutes (more than 5 minutes). The warning lights come on - Check Engine, Automatic Transmission, Tire Pressure, and Traction Control. Vehicle seems to drive okay but did not drive far. If vehicle is turned off for a while to rest and then restarted, all warning lights go out except check engine light. If turned off for a second time and allowed to rest for a while and then restarted, all warning lights are gone. This has happened twice now. Contacted dealer and they want me to replace the car starter batteries since it has been almost 18 months since I received them.
