When driving out of the lot on Friday we noticed a small raised lump/bubble on the steering wheel and didn’t think much more of it as it was so small. We called the dealer to ask about it but didn’t hear back. The car was parked over the weekend, not driven. It was next driven on Tuesday. That’s when we saw that the covering looked like it was peeling off with only 100km on the clock. It’s at the top of the steering wheel, there’s no scratches or damage, it appears what we noticed on Friday has just progressed to this which makes us very concerned about how the steering wheel will hold up. These things should last years with heavy use, not be falling apart days into a new car purchase. We’re hoping they rectify it and don’t give us the run around but only heard back from the sales rep for the first time yesterday so time will tell.
