After finally picking up my car after it being in the shop for 5 months due to a failed transmission, on the 50 mile drive home the front brake started dragging and making grinding/clicking noises. I thought at first it was because the car had been sitting outside for months not being driven, but the noise did not go away but got worse the longer I drove the car. I also heard clicking and clunking noises when backing up. Apparently there was a TSB on this that came out while my car was in the shop awaiting a new transmission in December 2022.
However, I did ask the dealer to check the brakes while it was there since on a recent service visit they noted there was premature wear on the brake pads and they did not do it, so I'm making another trip back to the dealer to hopefully get this fixed under the TSB. This will likely cost me money to fix since it is out of the standard warranty and now just under powertrain warranty.
