Vehicle has been losing power and pining since 2019. It has been taken to Westco Mazda Cairns numerous times with videos and they claim to never hear it and the vehicle "runs perfectly". We purchased the vehicle brand new from them. One mechanic noted on the invoice that the noise was heard and tests sent to Mazda Australia. Now, they that mechanic has left and that diagnosis has been disregarded. The head mechanic yelled at us and told us that "MAZDA DESIGNED THESE VEHICLES NOT TO DETONATE" and how stupid we were for bringing the vehicle back.
Loss of power in roundabouts, hills, cannot accelerate and is dangerous to drive. Yet it is only 4.5 yrs old. No fault codes come up or any warnings. Endless amounts of videos present the noise and still no solution. .
Vehicle was taken to another Mazda dealer and told the car runs perfectly. When you attempt to contact Mazda Australia, they refuse to speak with you about the complaint and refuse to acknowledge the problem and require a diagnosis from a dealer - its been diagnosed by multiple mechanics around the region and that's not good enough apparently!
People walking along the street can hear the pinging and every passenger in the car can hear it.
The heads up display never dimmed or brightened as it should, Mazda "repaired it under warranty" yet replaced the wrong part and never fixed the issue - still no heads up display working.
The customer service has been appalling and I am still with a faulty car.
