Mazda TSB #09-031-18-3489
2016 Mazda CX-3
TSB Document:
Affected Component: LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION
- Summary
- If it becomes necessary to replace the right-side Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) control module, the configuration may fail even though the Workshop Manual procedure was performed properly. This may occur when the existing BSM control module has a hand written suffix on the label. Example: Applicable BSM control module part number DB2R-67-Y80B, where the suffix ("B") is handwritten on the module label: This concern is caused by the wrong suffix being written on the label with an older software version. To eliminate this concern, the production process has been changed.
