O/D light blinking. The Mazda B3000 with V6 engine is a Ford Ranger with Mazda branding. Same transmission issue as all the complaints I see here on the Ford Ranger and Explorers. 39,000 miles and the O/D light starts blinking. Diagnostics show slipping in 3rd gear. Transmission needs to be rebuilt to the tune of $2,500+. This seems to be a known and common issue with these transmissions. I wish I had known about this before I got this '"great deal on a low mileage, clean, 2002 Mazda B3000". Ford needs to be sued out of business for such crummy business ethics.
