After getting a whole new set of tires, the shop told me I needed an alignment, went to a suspension shop who told me the front suspension (front lower ball joints - front outer tie rod ends - front inner tie rod ends - front sway bar links - front upper control arms) needed to be replaced and it would cost $600. I freaked out and left. looked online, bought the parts for $150+, installed them myself, had the front end realigned for $75.
Note: unless you have a mechanical background, don't try this yourself.
I am surprised that the front suspension wore-out before 50,000. I guess the previous owners hit too many curbs. No accidents in the vehicles history.
