Both air bags inadvertently deployed on their own while driving. The driver pulled over. The consumer sustained injuries, and went to the hospital on her own. Vehicle was towed to the dealer, and mechanic determined that the problem could not be duplicated. The consumer's daughter was the driver. The air bag sensor caused the air bag to deploy without warning. The consumer request reimbursement of the expenses incurred as a result of this problem.
While driving at 30 mph, the vehicle hit a pothole and the driver and passenger airbags violently deployed shattering the windshield causing the car to hit the sidewalk, exploding 2 tires, block driver eye glasses and injuring the driver face. The manufacturer initially acknowledged the recall on the car and accepted to repair but later directed the victim to file an insurance claim. Recall #98V249000.
While driving at 40 mph, vehicle was in a frontal collison. The driver and passenger side air bags did not deploy upon impact. Resulting in injuries to driver and passenger.
While approaching an intersection, another vehicle ran a red light. Forcing consumer to hit a building. The airbags did not deploy the dealership is aware of the problem.
While traveling at 25 mph hit a pothole and drivers/ passengers airbags immediately deployed. Consumer feels airbags are too sensitive, should not have deployed.
While daugther was driving about 40 mph another vehicle cut in front, and she could not stop on time, stricking other vehicle on the side. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy, causing injuries to driver. Dealer and manufacturer were contacted.
Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision at 35mph. Upon impact, airbags did not deploy, causing minor injuries. Vehicle has been totalled. Manufacturer has been notified.
While driving, both the driver and passenger air bag experienced deployment, the impact of air bags broke the windshield and rear view mirror, driver was hit in the face with the air bag.
This vehicle was involved in head-on collision at 45-50 mph, and frontal airbags did not deploy. Consumer was knocked out for a brief moment, and suffered face injuries. Dealr has been contacted.
While pulling into driveway at less then 5 mph, both air bags inadvertently deployed and damaged front windshield. Dealer / manufacturer notified, and informed that vehicle was outside of warranty, and nothing could be done. Feel free to provide further details.
Air bags deployed causing major burns to driver's face and skin as well as breasts, burning through 3 pieces of clothing. Windsheild broke because of the accident.

While making a low speed turn driver's and passenger's airbags deployed unexpectedly and without warning, which caused a crash and injuries. In Jan. 1999, had recall 98V249000, and the dealer repaired the vehicle.
