The car always had minor hard shifting problems but they worsened very slowly over the years until but at 92,000 the hard shifting started getting worse at also started experiencing slippage while driving and hesitation in acceleration. Transmission place said continue driving until unable to drive because the transmission is not possible to be repaired. They said it is a common problem seen with Ford/licoln models. A new transmission would be $5000 at least if not more.
