The contact owns a 2007 Lincoln Town car. The contact stated that when trying to apply the brakes in his vehicle the brake pedal goes down too far and hits the accelerator causing the car to jump forward. The contact brought the car into an authorized dealer however a technician was unable to diagnose a problem. The current mileage is 11,350. Updated 06/25/08 the consumer stated when he applied the brake, the accelerator pedal would go down as well. Updated 06/29/08
