Seat belt light suddenly came on with warning bell clanking. Took it to Ford dealer & they could not turn it off & they could not. The Ford Garage had to get a special tool to test the seat belt extractor right side only & found it was the seat belt extractor. Ford's solution was to buy 2 new extractors & the total cost would be $700 plus. After Ford received extractor tool tester, tried to get used belts around & failed tester. Lincoln customer service at 800-521-4140 did listen to me but basically said car was out of warranty & tough luck. Bill is yours. Finally sent belt to a guy in Duluth, GA & according to his website will fix any belt. Awaiting the return of seat belt extractor which will take @ 1 week's time. The car has been in the shop for over a months time over a little pissy problem!
