body / paint problem
Thought I had previously read an item about water on the rear floor carpet, but forgot where. Will look for it again.

Water leaking into rear passenger foot well. Although I have found many similar complaints from Lincoln owners and other Ford models dating back to 1990's .Calls to Ford Motor about this problem, they deny that problem exists. However, if you read the complaints of many Lincoln Town Car owners, the problem is very prominent. The leaking has occurred in Lincoln and other Ford automobiles as far back as 1975. I hope that Lincoln (Ford Motors) will finally admit that the problem occurs and offer a FIX.

Spent over $500.00 to try and fix, but could not find leak! I expect this car to last my lifetime and hate to think nothing can be done. I took to Lincoln dealer who referred out, and took to mechanic who referred to same place, so here we are. Have decided, have to live with it, but it's so irritating, especially when out with friends.
