The contact owns a 2006 Lincoln Town car. The rear passenger side door latch became stuck and the door could not be opened from the passenger compartment. A rear passenger would be unable to exit the vehicle in the event of a crash. The vehicle has not been inspected by a mechanic. The current and failure mileages were 44,080.

The vehicle was inspected by a dealer, who determined this was the way the vehicle was designed. The manufacturer was alerted.
