The contact owns a 2005 Lincoln Town car. The contact stated that the rims were defective. He went away for a week, came back, and discovered that the tire was flat. The contact was informed of a nail in his tire. The other three tires began to fail, and at any given moment, one of the tires would flatten. He took the vehicle to Goodyear for inspection and they stated that the rim was failing. The Goodyear dealer placed seal on the tires. The contact believed that either the tires were not compatible with the rims or vice versa. The purchase date was unknown. The current mileage was 14,000 and failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
: the contact stated the front passenger tire lost air pressure. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the rim was found to be welded on the inside. The spot weld appeared to be the cause of the loss of air pressure. The local dealer recommended making an appointment with the dealer where the vehicle was purchased for repair.
