My 2005 Lincoln Town car extended warranty expired @ 100,000 miles and at about 110,000 miles the A/C failed. The dealership repaired it citing that the evaporator failed at a cost of approx. $2,400. I called Ford motor and they said that there's nothing they can do to help me. About a month ago, 3 months after having the evaporator replaced, the A/C failed again, not blowing cold air. I took it back to the dealership that did the original work, and this time they said that the accumulator is leaking and has to be replaced at a cost of approx. $700. Again I called Ford motor and they said that they cannot help. Can you intervene? the dealership is safford Lincoln-Mercury, silver spring, Maryland, phone #: 888-848-5997, and the service manager is chris austin.
