while my son was driving my 2002 Lincoln town car, he was slowing to make a left hand turn when the driver side seat airbag deployed.. ripped the seat seams open, and bruised his arm... he also has air bag burn on his side.... there was no impact. he didn't hit anything there is no damage to that part of the car at all... it is ridiculous that this happens in this day and age... luckily he was only a mile from home and managed to get the car home but even after driving a mile with the windows down the car was still full of airbag dust... which if it had been an accident wouldn't be an issue.. but when they go off with no warning and for now reason.. it is a problem.
