The contact owns a 2001 Lincoln Town car. The contact stated when it rains, water would come through the air conditioner ducks and onto the floor of the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and the dealer could not remedy the issue. The vehicle has not been repair since the dealer cannot determine the cause of failure. The contact is concerned that the failure could cause an electrical fire to occur. The failure mileage was 123,000.
The transmission slipped. There was a loud noise coming from under the hood, the transmission leaked fluid, and would not engage when warm. The technician resealed the tailshaft plug. The lug nuts were loose since the vehicle was purchases. The vehicle would cut off while driving. There were rattle noises coming from the chassis when going over bumps.
