The chrome plate on the left front rim chipped, causing the air in the tire to leak. Dealer replaced the left front wheel. No air pressure loss was evident until a sudden loss from 32 psi to 15 psi experienced. The dealer removed the tire and revealed a failed area about 2 1/2 inch long by 1/2 wide. The chrome plate appeared to be a bend failure to the wheel. There was sometimes a loss of 15 psi to 15 minutes sometimes a loss of 15 psi overnight.
