The contact owns a 2000 Lincoln Town car. The contact stated that while refueling the vehicle, fuel was dripping on the exhaust pipe and dripping under the vehicle. A technician informed the contact that the filler tube was rusted and fractured. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 210,000.
