This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The right front wheel separated from the front assembly. The vehicle is at the dealership but has not been checked at this time so the exact failure is uncertain. This failure appears to be similar to failures experienced by 1995 Lincoln towncars which were identified in NHTSA: 96V135000 and NHTSA: 98V322000, however, fmc advised me that this vehicle was not subject to those recalls. It is probable that the investigation into faulty steering linkages of 95 Lincoln towncars should be expanded. I have asked the dealership to provide me with all failed components. If NHTSA would like to have access to those components, I will make them available.
