Yet another issue with this car. Heater hoses that go from block to fire wall failed at a new, fairly chintzy connection point. Mechanic said he sees this all the time as hoses were meant for easier assembly, not longevity. Unfortunately, Lincoln/Ford realized this, but did not do a recall, but upon failure you have to replace the entire heater hose assembly, not just the connector. Nothing like spending $1500 because of a $30 part failure. Hoses were still in good shape, they almost looked brand new.
