The contact owns a 2008 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated that the navigation system would continuously provide erroneous directions. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the system needed to be updated. The contact declined, stating that he did not believe that the update would correct the failure. The VIN was unavailable. The failure and current mileage was 20,000.
