This is the FIFTH TIME (5x) I have had to fix this very same air suspension problem in 6 years!! It BOUNCES like crazy and the car is COMPLETELY UNCONTROLLABLE.
What's really scary is that it is TIES INTO THE PASSENGER AIRBAG, WHICH BECOMES COMPLETELY NON-FUNCTIONAL !!!!!
Is Lincoln waiting for a passenger to die before they recall this TEN YEAR OLD problem that even a 7 year old on the internet can see is a repeat pattern of breakdowns!!
It is extremely costly ($500/time) and the dealer doesn't warranty it, and the manufacturer hasn't recalled it! It's all over the internet so I'm not the only one experiencing this!!!
After 3 x to the dealer, they have a hard time figuring out the problem: spring coil, air compressor, etc etc
4th time I took to a auto shop who also couldn't figure it out, but charged me $500 nonetheless.
This 5th time, I haven't even decided what to do.
I say getting a petition together is the only way to make Lincoln pay attention else end up like GM victims!
